i have a light silver 05 g35 6mt coupe with black interior and im ready to get my windows tinted but i am stuck between 20% and 35%.. i had 20 on my jeep and got in trouble with it but 35 seems too light.. does anyone have pictures of my car with 20 and 35? thanks

Are you looking to do 35% because of your local laws? If so then, with a blk interior 35% will look darker on your car then on a car with a light interior. Also I don't know what state your in? But in CT there is no law on percentage used on rear window.(very rear not rear sides) There for you can do 35% on sides and 15 - 20 on rear, this will give a much darker appearance to side windows because of less light transfer threw the rear window. Hope this helps..

You could add another layer on top but on the front windows or any window that can go down the 2nd layer won't hold for long. The other windows should be fine though.

Mass is 35% all around but they can't check any window that doesn't roll down. And by that I mean officially check it. They can still do it by visual but there is no official reading. So again, back windows can be whatever and the front have to be 35%

not to mention by adding another layer your going to be paying twice to achieve the darker look...

Idk what it's like in Mass, but in Indiana where I'm originally from, the law is also 35%... but cops never stop people for 20... I've had limo tint one my past cars for the past 5 years and only been stopped once (because I tinted the windshield) D'oh! ~(8(|)

It's all really about how much attention you're drawing to yourself. If you have a LOUD car or a car with a bunch of bright lights... things that make cops thing you're a kid or a "racer"... they're gonna stop you for the darker tint just as an excuse to stop you and/or write you a ticket.

If you have more of a subtle car and don't think you draw a lot of attention... go for 20%! 35 is just way too light

mass has stayed at 35% and not gone up to closer to 39%?

Is the factory glass pretinted on the G35? If so, 35% tint will be illegal once you add any tinted glass
