Re: *How much for good tints*

I paid $180 in CT for Llumar tints with lifetime guarantee. You can probably do better than that in NY somewhere.

$250 for Huper Optic (lowest you'll find for Huper). Done by James Tint in Middletown (Orange County, NY). Babyphat can back me up on his excellent job.

I second Speedoholic's comment. I got my HO's from there and it has come out quite well.

Re: *How much for good tints*

It was probably regular film tint. Hupers are ceramic, so they'll never fade.. guaranteed. Check it out for yourself if you want..

Re: *How much for good tints*

**backing up Speedaholic's remark**
I love the look of Hupers and the clarity of it at night... I got 40%, but now wished I would've gotten slightly darker 30% instead... but 40% is less susceptible to cops pulling you over for a fix it ticker on your tints.

$250 is a lot, but for the quality film you're getting, it's pretty darn good. Most places charge $350+ for Hupers... Just mention this forum and he'll probably do it for $250.

Good luck with your tint...

Re: *How much for good tints*

Nope, but I sure would have gone back to get 30% instead of 40%.
The only problem I see with Huper is that their shade grades do not match other tint brands. Meaning, their 40% looks more like 50% Llumar. I think 30% is nice and looks like something between 35% and 40% of any other brand.
Other than that, no complaints, this tint is THE best.

Re: *How much for good tints*

My advise is not to skimp out on tints... Purple tints/bubbles on a G would just plain out look ghetto. If you're spending $30k+ on a car, what's another $250..?

As far as tints, if you want a dark limo tint, then Hupers aren't for you as they only go down to 30%. I'll be at this Sunday's meet if you want to see it in person and judge for yourself, and then you can make your own decision...

Good luck...

I'll try in any way to help out a member here, although I'm not as experienced as many of the people on this forum. I'll be at the meet as well, so you can check out the Ceramic 40's.
