Re: Ahhhhhh Stickkkkk....

The Heel/Toe thing is fun once you get a hang of it... It's perfect when you enter a turn hard, hit the "right side" of the brakes with the left part of your foot... and kinda twist your foot over to "blip" the gas pedal, release clutch... and GO!!! It's all buttery smooth once you get a hang of it! Problem is... My technique ain't buttery smooth yet, more like half melted butter from the fridge... LOL

I'm still perfecting my techniques so I can go Auto-Crossing...

Re: Ahhhhhh Stickkkkk....

This is my first stick car as well.. but I've had some practice in a few BMWs, Porsches (they are a b!tch), Ferraris, Audis, Saabs.. name em I drove em. Ah, the perks of working as a valet parker at a country club.. lol.

Now, only if I can get the downshifting and rev-matching right everytime... shiot!!!

ill, I could have sworn I read a post of yours saying you had already begun paperwork on an m3? Didn't seem like it was in jest.

Re: Ahhhhhh Stickkkkk....

I pretty much had everything worked out, i just couldnt get anyone to take over my car I still want an M3 so badly, but i guess a lot of things hit me at once, and basically its an expensive car and insurance will be crazy. I would also be stretching so much to get these payments in and just too much that i cant afford at my age, i guess what i hate to admit "not practical" but i love the coupe and the M3, but i think ill get a coupe for 2 years or 3 then get into an M3 if i still want it, who knows!! I was driving his car tonight again though, and i love it man, no better feeling!! And LOL, hills seem to be the easiest thing, you feel the gear catching so much more then while on flat surface!
