thx guys... ive been thinking of painting my hood to match my car except the vent which ill leave cf like the pic below n im going to get the strafe trunk and was thinking of painting it except the lip which i would leave cf... also was thinking since im gooing bbk n was thinking of getting them red iwould change under my hood where its gold to red or should i keep it gold n have the bbk gold ???? pls give me ur opions

Painting the hood would make it heavier thus defeating the purpose of CF. I would leave it as is.... go with a black and CF look.

for BBK, i would say get them in black or a dark gunmetal to mimic the CF. Red and gold is kinda ugly combo IMO.

gold is classy with black n under my hood is all gold as u can see in the pix above... also the cf hood n stock hoods weigh the same... painting it doesnt make a real dif...

hmmm.. i say do the paint scheme and leave the bbk gold.. either way it will come out clean whichever route you choose

I painted the CF hood on my S2000 the same way. Looked pretty good. "painting the hood would make it heavier" - Oh please. It's not a Formula One car.
