I hate cops.

Some pencil licker pulled me over on the GSP this morning for 74 in a 65, right after getting CLOSELY cut off by some other *******. I was sure the baconsucker was going after him, but then I got pulled over and given a ticket. He also accused me of stealing my 2010 pba card because I couldn't remember which officer gave it to me (we paint a ton of police cars at my shop). Also, he told me I had to remove my "monmouth county police supporter" sticker from my windshield because apparently that's illegal. Maybe if I'd donated $500 for the 12-inch windshield police badge, it would have been OK. What a Sh*tbag, these guys should buy some looser tighty whiteys.

Yes, Jersey. And to be fair- I don't "hate" all cops. Just certain ones really get to me. I never speed on my way to work- and anyone who's familiar with the GSP knows there are crazies everywhere, as there were this morning. But, this guy crosses over a grass median and cuts through rush hour traffic to pull me over, while observing multiple other people driving way more "wreckless" than me. He told me I was pulled over for speeding, but then gave me a ticket for tinted windows. Fine, I'll take the $47 ticket, of which I get one every 2 years. But then don't reprimand me on speeding, accuse me of stealing my PBA card (which he kept), and tell me to remove my police supporter sticker from the corner of my windshield. I can't wait until the next time the state police call my shop begging for a donation and trying to sell me a platinum shield.

The Garden State Parkway is pretty much Monaco...lol I know when I go down to visit family I'm doing 80mph and I look over in the trruck/bus lane and the Fed Ex 18 wheeler is literally floating by me.

But shoot $47.00 is awesome compared to a few hundred. I mean here in MA the State Trooper will let you go for a few miles and hope he can find or add other things on to the citation and also see where you'll top out at before he makes it worth his while to write you up

What is it with these PBA cards?

Are these the highway's functional equivalent of "get out of jail free"?

Are stickers and a PBA card supposed to mean something when you're speeding?

WTF. You were speeding and unfortunately it was your turn. I won't go more than 5 over for exactly this reason unless it would mean obstructing traffic..

No tickets in 30+ years... Hmmm.

are you seriously ranting about getting pulled over for speeding but not getting away with it completely but still pretty good?

You never go more than 5 over the limit? Well gee, willikers. Ticketless for 30+ years, and countless hours wasted by driving so much slower than everyone else. To each his own. Maybe you should change your alias to Good Example?

I'm not necessarily ranting about the outcome of my incident, just the principals behind it.

No tickets in 30 years? I find that hard to believe.

As far as cops, yeah all they do is raise money basically. So don't get angry...pay the "donation" and move on. Next time they call tell them you already donated

Your first mistake is putting up the sticker. Thats an instant i am doing something wrong unless your old as chit. Thats the first thing cops look at. Oh this guy is putting a sticker in to get out of something. I would take it out. The cards i have had to be signed with a badge number on it. Idk bout monmouth but up towards somerset thats how it is and the manhattan where i got a few.
