Bill Clinton? really. I haven't had any troubles with cops over there. The ones in my area, Ramsey and Mahwah, especially Mahwah, are no fun.... I think they are bored to death so they pull you over for whatever excuse they can find. It was funny I used to get pulled over in my 1.6 liter 200sx, but I have never seen any V8 trucks with loud az strianght pipes with tire treads that are 3 inches thick got pulled over. ummmmm

I just moved from Mahwah, but got pulled over in my QX in Feb and was given two $80 tickets. One for having a clear license plate cover on the rear plate and for having a front plate that was bent (I was hit with a retread on 287 the day before)... I fought them and settled at a $40 fine but was such a pain in the **** going to court with over 100 different moving violaters there... It amazed me how much money that town generates from tickets... about 100 people a week and not many walked out with under $100 in fines... its nuts

By the way, if anyone in NJ has issues with tickets etc, i met this guy and he is really good. He is partners with an attorney i use. He is cool and when i spoke with him, he told me i dont need an attorney for my case and told me what to tell the judge etc for free... he has a site www.municipalcourt.com... if you need more info, PM me.

While we're on the subject, can someone tell me where I can get plugs if I wanted to close the holes that would be left after I remove my plate?

- Thanks.

No front plate...ever. I just make sure I keep a current parts order reciept for a plate bracket in my glove compartment. Easy 4 me to do however...I work 4 Infiniti and order slips are always avail. lol......haven't been stopped though. Have fun and good luck JBX

Yeah, I purchased my g-coupe in march of 2004 and w/ no front plate ever since then. The reason I think alot of g owners don't get pulled over about the no front plate issue is because the cops can't get their eyes off the entire package haha!!!!
