Just moved to herndon and was about to start my project and someone mentioned emissions. So the question is will a twin turbo g35 pass norva emissions. Someone said they just ob port it. Anyone that know how this works and whats the most modded G that passed. I want to start a thread that lists your mods that you passed with.

 

Your telling me no one has a FI G in the northern Va, Maryland or any area that uses the ob2 emissions test.

 

I live in Northern VA, I havent had any issues passing emissions..takes about 5 minutes

 

That's pretty neat, I also live in Herndon. Right near the border of Chantilly/Herndon. Off of centreville road.

You'll be fine. As long as you don't have test pipes.

One place did a visual look, the place I take my car to now (i now have art pipes) don't even bother. They know what I have, but they don't really care. I just pay them in cash and they're happy campers.

you just have to find someone who can pass your emissions with test pipes ....

since its winder not many people goes to car meet but every saturday there used to be a car meet front of hard time cafe (springfield) ..i used to go with my 350z every week ...

 

your best bet is to look in the group section, look for NGC(National G Club) many G owners in the VA,MD, DC area that get together.
