Tinting in NJ/NYC with aero package

Can someone please recommend someone who can handle the below situation? I have been told a good tinter should have no problem.

Thanks in advance for your help on this one.

I have a 2005 6mt with factory installed aero (rear spoiler). I am sure you can all picture on non aero sedans where the 3rd brake light on the rear deck is. On my car that light is on the spoiler therefore the area in question on the rear deck is covered in the same material the deck is made out of. Looks the exact same as non-aero just no light.

Here is my problem.

I am supposed to have the car tinted tomorrow. My tinter said he can not tint under the area in question and would have to cut around it (no space between the area and glass) as if it were the same as those with lights. He has informed me that there is no way to secure the film and get the bubbles out in that area.

I'm not sure I understand what you are saying...

Your tinter can not tint behind the third brake light?

Instead of what I have, you will have a cutout around the brake light?

my tinter removed the third brake light, tinted and put it back on.. shouldnt be that difficult unless he is lazy.. if thats the case, i would be really worried about him touching my car...

Your tinter may also want to stay legal. In NJ it is illegal to tint between the third brake light and the rear windshield. Personally, i wouldn't have it any other way. Either tint behind the brake light or don't tint it at all.
