welcome to Philly!
downtown is always fun, especially around Rittenhouse Square area, or around South street. Lots of bar scene around South St.

RedDawg, do you own a G, or just looking for things to do? If you own a G, or a nice ride, there are plenty of car shows every weekend around here. I live about 10 minutes away from you. What are you looking for, Bars, girls, hang out spots, car stuff? Let me know.

i don't own a G but plan to get a slightly used 05 this coming spring, i'd get one now but i figured i should wait until after winter to enjoy the car. I used to frequent car shows about 2 years ago but i hydrolocked my car and picked up a grand cherokee cheap (what i currently drive). For stuff to do, im basically looking for anything, bars, clubs, hang out spots, whatever. I've been bored out of my mind on weekends because i have no idea where anything is or what people like to do. Also, if anyone wants to give me a ride in a G I would really appreciate it, i haven't been able to figure out how to get to the infiniti dealership yet, ive seen it off of rte. 276 but i can't figure out how to get there to test drive one, lol.

The closest dealer to us is Willow Grove Infiniti, right off the Willow Grove exit on the turnpike. Get off that exit and head left out of the tolls onto Rt. 611. It will be at the second light on the right.

Just don't buy a car there.....go to West Chester. Better service, better deals.

West Chester is about 35-40min from Philadelphia depending on which way you go. There are a ton of bars on main st in Manayunk (my fav is Kildares...) or you can always hit up Old City. Lot of bars there, but they can get pricey. My favorite place in the city is Mahogany. It's a cigar bar. I can't stand crowded bars, and this is a great place to just chill. Bars to hit up would probably be 32 degrees, the Continental, Plough & the Stars. Finnegans Wake on 3rd & Spring garden isn't bad either.

If you guys are close to West Chester, you should check out Iron Hill bewery/restaurant, my aunt and uncle own it. It is really good, and I am not just saying that, they have won many awards for their beers.

My apt. complex shares the parking lot with Iron Hill Brewery. Aren't their beers very expensive though? I went there for lunch and I thought I saw that they were around $10/beer.

If you're around West Chester, definitely go to Iron Hill, or you can make the 10 minutes drive, and go to Downingtown, and visit Victory Brewery. Their beers are inexpensive and awesome. It's a little hard to find, but well worth it. Locals usually hang out there, including the guys from Viva La Bam and Johhny Knoxville. PM me if you need direction. Let us know if you wanna hangout there. There's a couple G folks around D'town.

Lynn

English Village...am I right? No, the one they are talking about is in West Chester, but it is the same chain. I used to live on lower state road a few houses off Rt 63.
