go give atlantic infiniti a call, and ask for michael weitz. northshore is about to be taken over by the atlantic group, and the old staff is going bye bye!

NORTHSHORE....sucks no other way to put it.

My dad got 2 cars from them before, so when it came time to get the G35....he went to them.

Of course...being that i'm the man in charge of deciding on the car for the family, we signed the papers and gave deposit within 5 min of being there.
--Problem was... they didnt have any cars....gave us a run around for about a month and a half. Kept giving us excuses that our car came in damaged or they couldnt trade it, or it was ont he way from Texas. SOME BS.

So i took it upon myself to call ATLANTIC Infiniti, spoke to Joe (i think) asked him straight up if he had G35C in graphite in stock. told him if he BSed me even once....i would hang up the phone. They had the car...so sent my dad to pick it up the same day. And i was calling from work ...arranging everything on the clock.( tee hee )

Northshore didnt even care that they were loosing us as a customer when i asked for the deposit back.

North Shore Infiniti has closed it's doors!!!!

Millenium just bought them out and relocated to the old Mitsubishi location in Manhassett. I was there today and ordered a 04 6mt sedan.

 

wait so whats going in place of Northshore?

Is north shore service dept still in the same location? Cause i got my car from Atlantic Infiniti in merrick but i rather bring it to Northshore service dept cause they are much closer.

North Shore also owned the Cadillac to the left of Infiniti and they moved it to the Infiniti building. Hummer is now at Cadillac and as far as the service dept. in Roslyn, I think they're gone.

Millenium that bought them out has the dealership, parts and service all at the old Mitsu location on Northern Blvd in Manhassett (between Plandome Road and Community Drive).

Let me explain, when we were North Shore many birdges had been burned and other dealers weren't willing to swap with us, that is no longer the case (thank god) and swaps are now being done extremely well.

Come in and give us a shot, the place isn't beautiful, but we really make up for it with phenominal inventory, and aggressive pricing.

I already have a car on orderw/ George @ your dealership. I can't already that Millenium is much better than North Shore was. It just seems that people there are still getting used to the Infiniti lineup since it's new to them. So far my order is taking a bit long than I expected with no word on how much longer it will take or an order number to track it. Otherwise George seems like a nice guy and doesn't seem to dish out BS like some salespeople are known to do. Of course, I will only know more about Millenium's service once I get the car.

George is my main man, I trained him at the old North Shore Infiniti; he knows the lineup 100%. I admit many of the sales guys are new to the product-- so for those of you looking for sales people that are truly enthusiasts I reccomend sticking with me (Eric Lloyd), the previously mentioned George Trumm, Micheal Hooran, and a guy named Patrick-- we're the ones who know the product inside and out.

Hey Northshore was sh*tty for real. I went there first to check the coupe out. I was outside with my cousin just checkin the car out in the lot. A young salesman comes out... I think Eric or something. Pretty rash with me and what not. Anyhow I m practically begging for a test drive and I don't even get that. Instead I get him test driving the car for me with me in the passenger seat. He abuses the sh8t out the car and then tells me to take this one for 500.00 off because no dealer will have one for four months. I guess cuz I m young, minority and drove an accord they figured I wasn't serious. Well F**k that cuz I copped one from Atlantic Infiniti from Mario like a week later, who was cool peoples. So yea NorthShore was garbage and their salespeople was garbage...If it was the dealer then whatever, but I got like 3rd Class treatment.

 

I was that salesman, and the only possible reasons I might have had for not allowing you to test drive the car yourself is

1. You didn't have you divers license
2. You came when we were about to close

or

3. You were under 18 in which case North Shore Infinit's insurance wouldn't have allowed you to drive the car.

I am sure I didn't (as you say) abuse the vehicle. I try and give a test drive that shows people what the car is capable of, in fact most people tell me they enjoy it thoroughly.

You said I came out to the lot to talk to you and your cousin, you then said that you think you were treated poorly beecause you were young and a minority. These two statements are complete contradictions, when someone comes out in the lot to greet you and show you the car the last thing that they intend to do is blow you off.

I think you should think before you speak, especially in a public forum such as this one. If the car was available to sell to you, believe me, that's what I would have steered you towards. If I told you there was a wait, there was a good reason for it.

i think it's great that north shore (now millenium) is trying to change it's image, and i applaud the fact that you are playing an active role in that change. you must understand that a good amount of people (myself included) were mistreated by n.s. infiniti. whatever the reason may be for that experience, it left a bad taste behind.

it would probably be a better idea to let your actions speak for itself through the service you provide, rather than to repond to posts in this manner. if you really care to be a part of this community, then positive participation is more important than anything else. for example, if a i were to find out that a particular dealership was mod-friendly, then you'd better believe that i will be paying them a visit for my next scheduled service.

please don't take this as a flame, it's just the opinion of a someone else on the other side of the table.

 

Funny you say that, I was just working with my parts manager to make NISMO products available straight through our service/parts desk. It's not 100%, but the process is in motion.

Millenium is in fact a better place to be a customer/salesperson than North Shore Infiniti no doubt about it! And I was told this morning tha we will be remodeling our showroom in the near future (so for the time being please pardon our appearance)
