But it's not a cold air, is it? So stock g have cold air intakes since the filter is in the same place? The nismo cai and injen cai have the filters by the wheel

I was just wondering...I really don't see it as a true cai...cai have the filter by the wheel well, that's why people have the fear of hydrolock. All stillen did really was redesigned the air box, add a velocity stack and filter

i concur, this is not a CAI, this may/should be described as a short ram-air intake.

VA 04 g35,
I re-read the intake, and ur right, its more of a high flow intake then a cold one. At first i was going to buy an AEM or Injen cold air intake, but i have friends who told me their stories about getting water sucked into their engine. I'm happy with the Stillen intake though. Thanks for the comment.
