Any format is fine...just needs to state what happened, speed, direction, etc. What I'm trying to prove is that he was reckless. I try to prove that he was going faster that me (we were speedingwith the flow of traffic). Just needs your name and sig.

I've never done one of these before but since this is a statement I tried to keep to the provable facts and leave opinions out of it. Lemme know if this works.

RE: Vehicle Collision on I-264 West-bound on 1/25/2009 involving Leslie Ligot

On January 25, 2009 6 other people and I were each driving an Infiniti G35 coupe in a group all travelling approximately the same speed heading West on 264 towards Norfolk to participate in a group vehicle photo shoot.
Shortly after passing the Rosemont Rd exit I observed an Acura Integra slowly passing though our group of vehicles on the highway. Shortly thereafter, in order to maintain our grouping, most, if not all of us merged into the far left lane. The driver of the Integra merged into the far left as well, taking position direction behind Leslie and directly in front of Brandon Lamoines. At this point in time, I was directly behind Brandon, two vehicles back from the Integra, with the rest of the vehicles in our group following behind me.

After a few seconds the driver of the Integra attempted to quickly merge two lanes to the right while also attempting to accelerate. He successfully merged into the first lane but cut-off and almost collided with a vehicle in the second lane. He then attempted to quickly merge back into the first lane, at which point the rear wheels of the Integra lost partial, if not all, traction and the vehicle began to fish-tail.

I applied my brakes, causing the vehicles behind me to slow as well. It appeared as though the people in the lanes to my right were doing the same. The driver of the Integra finally lost control of his vehicle and rapidly entered the left lane, colliding with Leslie’s vehicle and causing the rear end of Leslie’s vehicle to swing left into the shoulder towards the divider. Leslie’s vehicle and the Integra both rapidly deceleratated. Brandon and I both fully applied our brakes, causing the vehicles behind us to do the same. At this point I lost sight of Leslie’s vehicle as I was attempting avoid colliding with the rear end of Brandon’s vehicle and the divider as well as attempt to give the vehicle behind me some room to maneuver to avoid colliding with the rear-end of the vehicle I was driving.

After safely stopping and exiting the vehicle I was driving I observed Les and his vehicle stopped facing east-bound (against traffic) on the shoulder on the right (opposite) side of the highway, the Integra and its driver stopped perpendicular to the highway in the far left lane with its front bumper inches from Brandon’s vehicle’s front passenger-side wheel/fender, and Brandon’s vehicle stopped facing west-bound in the shoulder approximately a foot from the divider. The other vehicles in our group were also stopped facing west-bound in both the far left lane and the shoulder in a zigzagged line behind the vehicle I was driving. Within a minute we placed a phone call to the police and Virginia State Police officers arrived shortly thereafter.

Atlantic Shoreline. Where First Colonial and Oceana meet. Best in town.

Welcome. Glad to finally see another LR hanging around.

Are you a noob to the G35, a noob to this board, or both?

welcome!

check out our cruise/lunch coming up on march 15 if you can make it out: link

you can do a lot of bolt-on type stuff yourself - intake, spacers, etc. but for hardcore stuff, give Keenen a call over at All Aspects Motorsports in Chesapeake a call. super nice guy, great prices...several of us have used them for random stuff and highly recommend him.
