I would've never bought my G if I still lived up there. New Yorkers don't respect property, much less a nice car. It hurts my heart whenever I see a nice car with the paint all chipped off of the bumpers because someone refuses to parallel park without banging another car at least 10 times before they get it right. Somebody back into my '91 Celica so hard that the front bumper got knocked a little offline, and the hood got pushed back.

Plus, the streets are horrible. I learned my lesson with my '01 Celica. Dropped it 2 inches, riding on 225/35/18, and my back and suspension paid the price.

Unless you live in Long Island, it's pretty hard to enjoy a ride in NY. Now here, it's nothing for me to take a nice ride down General Booth, Dam Neck, or any of the main streets.
