I bought a 07 silver coupe premium package with black leather interior last year. My goal when ever the money gods smile on me is to build a full on NISMO street rocket and rebadge her to the 350 GT Skyline. May sound silly to some but since i've only seen NISMO 350/370Z's I figured i'd do something unique for myself (Infiniti is after all Nissan by birth).
For starters i'd like to install a true dual exhaust, cold air intake, front strut bar and some carbon fiber to snaz her up a bit. I'd really like to see a club or meet here in hampton roads G coupe drivers. If anyone out there has parts tips or comments on my NISMO build aspiration drop me a line sometime, I'm out in Chesapeake near the hospital on Battlefield.
I think generally the price tag turns off a lot of younger buyers, I considered the 350 and 370 but was sold on the luxury features of the premium package and the wider body of my G35, a little more factory horsepower would have been nice but nothing a little cash can't fix.

Hows it going monkey? I have a ztube and popcharger but i believe you have dual intakes. You would be suprised at the age of most of us that have G's.

Anyways if you look about four posts up you will see our next meet. Its in two weeks at the local buffalo wild wings if your interested.

Like I said it's different but my project aspirations are for myself. If others take interest that's cool, if they think it's silly that's cool too.
I definitely look forward to meeting, I originally wanted to buy my car from Charles Barker but Bobby Ford couldn't quite get the GM to agree on my price, great guy if you ask me. Regardless though Charles Barker has been really cool as far as taking care of my questions and making me feel like family even though I got my car from Pomoco Nissan. If anybody else reads this definitely go see these guys.
I have three pictures right now in my album. The car is still stock with the exception of a pioneer DVD/CD/Ipod etc unit I installed and a Blue Tooth unit. I think i'm going to hardwire my Garmin GPS unit to a unused fuse since I hate charging it, being an aircraft avionics and electrical tech i'm always thinking of mad scientist stuff to do with wires. My company modifies our aircraft with Garmin units which is where I got the idea to have constant power.

It's got duals on it but I don't think it's a true dual exhaust. Could be wrong, anyways just want something with a little more HP to add. Yeah i've seen younger G35 drivers but most tend to gravitate towards the 350 and 370's I almost bought a 370 myself but the leather and Bose system plus the wider stance of my G35 ultimately sold me.
I installed a Pioneer DVD/CD/Ipod etc unit, coupled with the Bose speakers the sound is amazing especially when i'm playing movies. It's like having a mini movie theatre with THX in my car. Still find myself staring at the 370Z daily, my wife says i'm cheating on my G by thinking about other cars. LOL. Look forward to meeting other G drivers, I recently spent some time in Germany and Afghanistan for work so this is the first time i've really started looking for other owners and joined a forum like this.
I have an album started and will expand on it when I have new stuff, I've become an Ebay motors addict looking for all kinds of stuff like a carbon fibre engine cover, I like to shop and support local retailers though so anybody out there selling G35 aftermarket parts let me know.
