Car wash recommendations in Jersey City or surrounding areas??
I usually wash my car at my cousin's house because she has a driveway, but she lives all the way up in Englewood
! And it's also getting colder to be doing it outside (plus, my cousin isn't too happy at me right now, but thats another story). I live in an apt so I have no place to wash my car even when it is warmer outside. Where does everyone else go around here?
Thanx

I always head to the car wash on sip ave. No brushes!, all had wash. And price is cheap. What else could you ask for!
I am 5 minutes away from there. Holla if you ever want to meet up. I see all sn's on the forum but no faces to match.
lata.
I just took my rims off the car, and after this first snow I am ready for a wash anyway. Maybe we could meet up.

i have a heated garage, but no hose. so it ends up being a garden sprayer and 2 buckets. if it's really bad i bring it to a touchless place on garfield and caven point ave, but i don't let them dry it

yeap, like i said i only go there when i have to, and not immediately after a storm. these places recycle water and depending on the filtration it could be a problem. most likely i will not wash my car this winter, but if i do - two bucket method.
thanks for filling me in. i use the two bucket method as a last resort. I have all the cleaning and washing products. but just too lazy. I think I might invest in the mr. clean car wash. I heard this product is very good. After the wash I usually spray the maguires car shine and give the car a wipe down.
But i am not sure if I will do anything this weekend cause, HAVE anyone of you seen the snow out there!

Well, I dunno if my car can wait any longer. I don't like seeing that salt build up on the body. I might just bring the car to that hand car wash down by Rt.9. It does say 100% Hand wash. That's a lil reassuring, I suppose. If I do go there, I will bring my own towels for them to use to dry the car.

Afr0puff told me about it the other day. Bring your own microfiber sponge and you are golden.
well, long story short...i ended up going to that hand car wash but told them not to dry the car. of course, they gave me a confused look but i explained why. not too bad, i suppose for $5.
05artisan03 - i found a self service wash on 440 and Culver. its directly across from the toyota dealer. of course, i discovered this after gettin my car washed!
