I think nj manufacturers is the cheapest, but I don't meet their selection criteria.

G35 Coupe. Diamond Graphite, Graphite, Premium and wheel and Tire package. Zaino Baby.

njm also rebates 10% of your premium at year end anniversary (it used to be 20% before florio).

they also don't up your rates for accidents or tickets.

Zorro,
I am an Insurance agent in NY - unfortunatly the situation in NJ is the worst in the US. There is not much relief there. Best bet: move

I haven't shopped too many different insurances in NJ because there are hardly any choices, but I have Prudential and I pay about $3,800 for my 01' Max SE with a couple of speeding tickets.

Try AAA,
1450 a year

no accidents in past 3 years, and
no points....

Another insurance company to try is AIG. They are slightly higher than Manufactures but you don't have to work for a company that uses them. Make sure you have a clean record, otherwise it maybe just as high as the others.

i pay about $1000/year in PA. in many cases insurance companies use your credit rating to determine your rate. it seems the better your credit the less likely you are to make a claim. isn't really fair because usually that means the people that can least afford it have the highest rates and visa versa. check out this article http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2002/...in522755.shtml

Re: Outrageous insurance prices in NJ

I have AIG and had an accident (not my fault) right before I got my G35 so there is bound to be some "adjusting" of premiums on the G. Prior to that I had State Farm which was pretty good. NJ is a nightmare for insurance and you MUST shop around. I was actually solicited by AIG a few years ago because of my good driving record. Recently, I asked AAA for a quote and it was way high. At your recommendation, I just tried NJCURE.COM to see what they come back with. I currently pay about $1800 per year in NJ.

PS GEICO is not here and doesn't wanna be here. All the NJ companies are exiting here as fast as they can. The govt has screwed this up badly. They don't want to take on the trial lawyers in a suit-happy society.
