Are you in Southeastern PA or S Jersey area and interested in a G35 (sedan and coupe) meet and BBQ event on a nice Saturday in the fall?

Respond to the following if you are so we can get an idea if this will fly.

Thoughts on location: Fairmount Park in Philly.

Event: Look at our Gs, bring food (family & friends) and stuff to BBQ, play softball or volleyball (coupes vs sedans? autos versus mannys?)

Possible dates/times: Sat Sept 27 at 1 p.m.; Sun Sept 28, at 2 p.m.; Sat. Oct. 18 at 1 p.m; Sun. Oct 19, at 2 p.m. ; Sat. Oct. 25, 1 p.m.

No, on weekends, boathouse row is too congested and parking can be a problem. The West River Drive is nice, but closed to vehicles on the weekends. So, I was thinking up into the park from the East side. There are big parking areas, fields, picnic areas, and it's easy to get to. Specific directions would be provided.

Sure! Anybody can come--maybe we'll even give a prize for furthest away. I drove 3 hours to go to a meet in NY. That's when I decided it was time to do one in our area.

Hey Dreams - I'm in depending on date. Don't forget we could do Deleware Ave somewhere or at the stadiums for some open space. Love fairmount park idea - wanted to throw some more around...can't wait. Come on Sedan owners - we need some support.

 

Delaware Ave sounds cool too, but I wonder if Philadelphia's finest may pull-over a caravan of Gs because of what may appear to be "shady" activities. I think that we'll need clearance from the esteemed Mayor.
