79 yr old woman macks my g35
I was at work and my mom calls me:
mom: "sorry to ruin your week, but a 79 yr old woman that was on her way to the eye doctor just clipped your car"
me: <nuclear explosion goes off inside of my head>
i'll save you the details, but here's some pics.. i hope you understand my pain.

that's tiny compared to what happend to my car before.
6 years ago, some old lady rear ended my PARKED CAR.
infront of my house, left side smashed, totaled.
she has 2 flat tires, her airbag deploys... she leaves the scene while compressing the airbag. the cop stopped her a few blocks away.
She said she didn't see my WHITE hatch, this was around 4-5PM lol

damn that sucks bro, i hope everything will turn out fine
i see that the pics are on the njit server... do you go there? I commute across the street to rutgers-newark... so if you see a silver g35 coupe on uni ave, it could be me. About 2 years ago, I had my previous car parked near the field for a mere 50 minutes... came out and most of the body panel parts had been keyed Well anyway, I hope the repairs come out good for you.

thanks for all of the condolences if there's a place where I could find sympathy, it's on these forums, haha.
anyway, a police report was filed, but she wants to pay it out of her own pocket. if she doesn't feel like paying ASAP, then i'm calling her insurance company. i'm not going to play any games.
seacra, i graduated from NJIT over the summer, how much longer will you be at Rutgers-Newark?
also, i've only had the car for about 6 months.. if the body shop strips the fenders and then repaints them, will it match the rest of the car perfectly?

Im a very nice guy, i would probably pay for half of the repairs just because i feel bad for her.
I strongly belive in karma, so i like to help people out when i can.
Quick story:
It was 2am, i was turning left on a light to my street, a guy comes behing me and hits me while im stopped. We pull over, hes drunk. I let him go because at that point my honda was sooo beat up that the damage blended in with the rest of the beat up car, lol. About 2 weeks later i bought the G anyway.
I guess if i wanted to i could have gotten money out of him, probably cash cause he wouldnt want me to call the cops... but nice guys always loose (sigh) Hopefully that positive karma kicks in soon.
