Does any1 know of a place on Long Island where i could have my OEM 19's refinished, have the lip polished and the center powdercoated black....., also i need new tires, should i have my wheels refinished and then get new tires put on, or should i get new tires and then bring the wheels to get refinished?

SL Metals in W. Babalon. I believe their web site is http://www.slmetals.com/. They do AMAZING work. I hit my Junction produce wheel and took a 1/2" chunk out and repaired it better than new. I just also dropped off 4 Volk TE-37s and they polished the lip, fixed the rash and powder coated the centers as well. Great work. I don't have their number in front of me now but PM me and I can get it for you.

Just had a MONSTER bend in my wheel fixed by them in under a week. Kevin does an AMAZING job on fixing wheels and on his turn around time. Definitely call him first.

I think it varies on the severity and the extent of work needed.

Is there a range of how much it can cost? I need the same and I am looking for someone too.

Not too many enthusiasts driving sedans out there, esp. not MT.

I still have no idea how much these things run. I don't wan't to spend a fortune.

Does anyone know how much the stock coupe 18's weigh?

I don't know who much it can go up but i scrapped my Work wheel last year and I ended up paying him $70 to fix it

Now I need to go back since I did it again but on a different side Let me know if anyone is driving there maybe my wheel can hitch a ride

+1 on SLMetals. I took my rims there to get them powdercoated, they came out incredible. They do top notch work, probably best in town. Their proces might be a bit more expensive compared to others, but you definitely get what you pay for.
