I curbed my rear right rim and was wondering if anyone knows a good repair shop around Queens or Nassau county that does good work? I did get Kevin from SL Metal's number but his number is currently disconnected which doesn't help. Does anyone know of any others? Thanks.

SLMetal # is up now the # is 631-491-4313. Kevin is very easy to work with. There are so many guys especially from the G Squad that went to him and everyone are satisfied. Do you have an aftermarket wheels? If you do then hands down Kevin is the man, but if you have an OEM then you can just go to mobilewheelrepair.com coz they are good with OEM.

 

Make sure they have experience on Polished/anodized wheels. You don't want your Volk not to match the rest of the wheels.

 

Kenny, not to go against you here, but these guys may do ok work on stock wheels, but never use them for aftermarket. I set up a wheel repair day at my house with these clowns and Coupin was the guinea pig. They were extremely unprofessional. After working on his wheel for 2 hrs they said they had to take it to the shop. The guy said he would call him when he gets to the shop which is 20 min away. 1hr and a half goes by and still no call. .....FFWD a few hours, they call and say they are on their way and the "boss" would be coming. When Coupin got his wheel back is worse condition then before and the guy wanted to get paid! The guy was extremely shady. The repaired part of the wheel was left dull and hazy. After cuopin fighting with the guy for about 30 min, and the guy insistinig he get something for his efforts, he finally gave up and left!

Also, the guy was leaning on everyones car there like he owed them, leaning on mirrors, etc! He is by no means a small guy either! I dunno, I just got a very bad impression. I know aftermarket wheels are more difficult to fix, but if you can't fix a wheel, just say so upfront. Coupin even told him upfront it was annodized, it was aftermarket....etc etc etc.

Just do your research folks!

 

They are experienced. Once I get my wheels back. I'll post a result.
