I just had the sensors on my 05 coupe go off as well. The cold dropped the pressure a couple lbs and I was at the gas station pumping them up this weekend. The max is 40 (from the stock tire sidewall) and I think the sensors go off at anything below 30.

The cold air pressure on the coupes is 32 I believe. Also. if you have the correct air pressure and they are still going off, it could be that the battery is dead in one of them, I have this issue with one of mine and the TPS light goes on after about 25 minutes or so every time.
..... It could also be an alignment issue where one tire is heating up a lot more than the other. Just let us know a little more and we can all figure it out.

on a side note.......ShannieShan78, since your a chick, you can probably weasel out a few free oil changes from bythebay, just don't let him know I said so!

i got it fixed today at the dealership... they set them at 34 psi again, and said they took whatever "data" off the car that they could, because i come back a little too frequently for this problem. thanks everyone!

HOWEVER, i found out i need two new front tires and my alignment re-checked. my service guy wrote down this info, which means jack-diddly to me: "p225-40r-19y". he tried to explain it to me, and i sort of understood what he was saying, but i forgot what the 40 meant. what does anyone know about "kuhmo" tires? the tires they are offering at the dealership was $750 for 2. plus, im broke, someone help me!! =)

I've heard mixed reviews about kumhos. I plan on going with something a little more expensive. They should do you okay though as long as you're not pushing the limits. As a side note, if you price your tires out at tirerack.com and then get wheelworks to match the price, you will have a great deal (including installation).

225 = width in mm
40 = sidewall height % (40% of 225)
19 = wheel size in inches

wheel works found the same tires i have, but they are still much cheaper than going through the dealer. i was quoted $750 JUST for the 2 front tires alone, plus like $120 for alignment. wheel works quoted me about $680 or something like that, for everything, wheels, installation and alignment. man, im so glad i looked into this. thanks everyone for your help!! =)

My garage is fully stocked with every tool needed to do basic/moderate maintenance & repair.

I also have a good supply of Amsoil products for those of you interested (filters, engine oils, gear lubes).

If you're interested in getting some help, feel free to PM me and setup a time for a Saturday (since that's when I usually have time to do this). For those of you who are willing to help out every now & then list your specialty and subscribe to this thread and I will post whenever additional help is needed.

For those of you who care, I follow the factory maintenance/repair guidelines very strictly.

I have a bunch of oil containers from blackstone labs for oil sampling too... they are free but blackstone will charge ~$20 for an oil analysis.

Once again, I am doing this for FREE to help everyone save money for their new mods
I need aa oil change.pm me Thanks

i know you just joined this month, but you gotta show some more respect. Eugene is one of the nicest guys on the board, and he changed my oil for me last month, and we were chatting it up the whole time. He knows his stuff and is a great value to the g35 drivers in the bay area.

shannie, have you had any luck on getting your rim fixed?

Oh yeah, i can contribute a loaner porter cable 7424 polisher to the group. I've got way too much detailing supplies from surfing around on www.autopia.org, so if anyone wants to try out the random orbital polisher before buying one, let me know.
