Sorry one more question.

Any good car washes on the peninsula that wont scratch your rims when you get your car washed?

Just those rails....dont look very rim friendly.

Any places that actually care about your car?

Go to Phil at ADS Mobile in San Bruno. I know a few of us on here have gone to him before with great results

Def stay away from car washes with rails, my dealer ran my car through one and got to pay to refinish the rims the following week.

i don't have the same rave reviews about phil as others... i thought he was decent but not spectacular. the guy he has who does the washes definitely left light swirls in my paint so i'm hitting up hemant aka zainodetailer

Actually, I am going to be trying Hemant too in a couple of weeks. Never had Zaino on my car, so I wanted to see the difference and he has also had a lot of good reviews on here.
As far as ADS. When I go Phil, since I live in Sac, I usually get the works with a full polish and all so I guess that's why I haven't noticed swirls after his job. Haven't had just a car wash, and now that you said that you had swirls afterward..maybe it's a good thing I didn't

But, bottom line, either way is def better than those public car washes with the rails. Both Phil and Hemant will care more about your car than those other places.

Phil is good. He got all of the overspray off my entire car including my VOLKS.

If in the East Bay we also do full detailing by hand washing and hand waxing. We put the muscle into it and avoid all machine buffers if possible. I would also suggest only Phil as well. Seen some cars from the other place come through and not too impressed. Either way avoid cleaning the car in this awful heat!!!

What kind of product do you use and what exactly does your full detail include? Oh and a price quote too, thanks.
