That's awesome of Carol to approve of such a toy. I'm battling with my girlfriend to give me the green light for this:

Boris . . . Carol and I have had heated discussions about me getting a 2 wheeled death trap, as she puts it. For myself, Carol is probably right. Your girlfriend is simply concerned for your safety and well being.

guys, thats why you have to get a motorcycle when you are still single...then never get rid of it. no matter what the wife/girlfriend says, it's a moot point- thanks to the motorcycle grandfather clause.

When I had my bike, I actually didn't mod my car because there was nothing I could do to my 350Z to get it nearly as fast or as fun as my R1.

I definitely want another R1 but going FI is all I have been able to think about.

My last bike that I sold last year: 2002 Yamaha YZF-R1, 998cc inline 4, C/F Devil High Mount Race Pipe, K&N drop-in filter, Graves velocity stacks on intake tubes #2 and #3, USB Power Commander III w/ custom map/tune, Goodridge Kevlar braided lines front and rear, TOBY 916 Steering dampener, Custom True flushed LED front blinkers, Custom integrated 12 LED rear turn signals inside brakelamp, and more...

0-60 in under 2.5 sec, 350 lb curb weight, 171 HP, 1/4 mile 10 flat if you can keep the nose down. I miss her...

God bless you, Paul . . . GT2! . . . You are my hero. Hehehe . . . I cannot roll that big.

As for the motorcycle . . . I just tell myself that I am getting too old for such a toy and that my reflexes are not what they use to be to drive in the crazy Bay Area traffic . . . That has helped the no bike pill go down easier.

Just tell your wives that it's cheaper to mod a bike than a car.

I too have opted out of modding my G in favor of a two wheeled rocket. I just picked up one of these bad boys last week. I don't have a pic of mine up yet, but you get the idea ........

Visual Basic upgrades huh? Damn I just realized your car was an automatic. I was sitting here thinking why does Paul need a VB upgrade... umm, duh? Let me know what you are interested in. We can do labor work but the parts have to be purchased from us. Insurance clause!
Thanks.

Jeff
