I think its time for us to do this meet/drive again, we have very good turn out for this event each time, if you havnt been here long enough to remember this event? here is thread about it...The route is basically the same as in that thread, the time might be slight different.

The date are tentative if those arent good for you? please suggest some other dates, but we want to do this event before the raining season.


*** NOTE *** Just did a quick check for the Gaints's Schedule, 9-23/24 they are away, but 9-31/10-1 they are home against the much hated Dodgers, game time for Sat 9-30 is at 6 pm, Sun 10-1 is at 1 pm, So please keep those game time in mind when you vote, only Sun 10-1's game will affect us as our drving route might be in middled of the game traffic but as long as we leave for the drive from Red Robin sometime around 2~2:30 we might avoid most of the traffic.

The bay bridge east bound is close labor day weekend. It can be hard for people to get back to the east bay. Just a thought. Otherwise Sunday would be great. Have you guys ever consider doing a Fri. or Sat. night meet?

 

the bay bridgeclosure shouldn't be a problem. labor day weekend is 9/2-9/4. the proposed dates are at the end of september and the beginning of october.

Well, Bobby(GYAL8R) tried 3 weeks ago to get a Fri. night meet in S.F. but that idea got shot down rather quickly.

 

Nope, nothing yet, I tried to get soemthing going there, but they wanted an huge meet, wanting to have vendor come out for raffles, wanting to corner off sections of parking lot for their selfs and what not, like I have that kind of calling power so I just get out of their way and let them figure out the details, but of course I am more than willing to help.

I am thinking of combined meet, why have two sperate event with basically same route and around same time, we should wait and see what come of it over at my350Z next couple of weeks, if there isnt much going on? we shall set one up ourselfs, but if there is one? it wont be till second weekend of Oct. be cause first Oct. weekend Gaints is at home finishing the much HATED dodgers, think during the game day they will use Pier 30 as part of their parking space but taffic isnt so bad if we going thru there half hour after game starts... Maybe we should just change this event to S.C. drive instade?

I just read it, at least they picked right date , guess we will joining them then right? I dont think they are planning on stop at peir 30 so Giant's game wont affect us too much.

 

Yes, I am planning on going. Last year, we stopped by briefly. There were a whole mess of Z's there. We couldn't saty. We stopped by to run into the Target store. I was extremely impressed by the number of cars in attendance. If we could get 1/3 of the Nor Cal roll call to show up, it would be an amazing sight to view. I have to believe that this year there will be at least 125 t0 150 Z's in attendance based on last years Z numbers.

 

This is going to be interesting.

I hope more G's represent for this one because there were only a handful of G's at the Hearst Castle one.
