I was going to have Josh at AutoRnD install my springs and shocks but he's moving and won't be able to do the install for at least 2 weeks. He's moving to Fremont.

Any recommendations for a reasonable place for the installation preferably in the south bay but I'm open to any location. I just may wait although now that I have the springs, I would like to get them installed.

+1 for Josh @ AutoRnD- he'll definitely take care of your car.

If in the East Bay we do lots of suspension installs... lately about 80% of the business. We'll take care of you and several people on this board can back this up..

Thanks, I'll check them out. I know Z car is excellent but they are kinda expensive. I'll see about the other places.

If anyone else has a place of business they would like to promote, please let me know.

Thanks again, it's much apreciated......

I have heard rumors of that too but I was there on Friday to get my Unichip installed (didn't happen) and they were working on cars.

Hmmm...weird. Word on the street is that Ted has sold his share of the company, and is now starting a Lambo shop. I've also heard rumors of him having experience building V12 blocks, so perhaps this is true.

How come you weren't able to get the UniChip installed? I'm curious to see your results.

Ted wasn't there to do the install and wouldn't arrive until 3pm. I showed up at 8am looking foward to getting it installed. I talked to him on the phone and he said he wanted me to leave the car for him to tune in the evening. I don't live any where near there and it is difficult for me to get there. I wasted a vaction day going there for nothing. I heard the same thing about the Lambo stuff. I know a friend of his who told me the SP might be out of his hands and Ted may go into the higher end stuff. Right now I just need the Unichip installed. Boris, any other Uni installers around?

No, Mike . . . Josh at AutoRnD is going to be performing installs from his home in Fremont. The last time I was at AutoRnD, they were looking for a new shop.

Okay, here's the facts on SP (Ted). Shop officially closes 08-31-06 Thursday. He's has his own shop in Gilroy, bought the business he use to work for when he worked on the Lambos and Fer...before the SP business. I spoke with him just now at 8:00pm to verify the date, as I knew about it, but not the exact date. And yes he has his own Lambo TT also. Selling his "Blackwidow" with 7,000 miles approx. on it, if anybody's looking for a convertable 350Z

I also feel that Z car would not receive such trivial work so well. You probably won't get the same level of service from them as you would if you wanted a TT installed. [no offense to anyone]. scheduling an appointment for this would be placed at the bottom of their priority list, since they are busy with bigger jobs. i'm not bitter, just voicing my experience
