The record (for Bay Area) cold

So, how is everybody dealing with the freezing temperatures? Any interesting stories involving your G and ice?

Here's a 30 sec exposed pic of some ice in a stagnant body of water in my backyard, that I just snapped about half an hour ago:

I'm kind of liking this cold, but then again I'm a crazy Russian. Have to say, thank you very much Infiniti for making heated seats standard on the 2006 model!

Yup...I'm ready for spring/summer anytime now. The sooner the better.
You know it's cold when your tires go thump, thump, thump in the morning b/c they still have the flat spots from being parked overnight in this cold weather.

The natural spring at southbound 101 north of 13th St. under the railroad overcrossing has been freezing in the morning. It's in the fast lane and everyone who drives over it at 75-80 goes spinning out of control and smacks the dirt embankment on the other side.

How bad is it in other parts? I've seen a badge engineered Maxima, err Infiniti I30 very badly crashed on a tow truck being driven away from a mountain road the other day. Californian's don't deal well with non-dry weather conditions (luckily I lived thirteen years in a place where it snows quite frequently). What truly "amazes me" (from a schadenfreude point of view) are the people who tailgate others in *rain*.

[EDIT: is -> are]
