Moving to SF from Boston

If I bring my car over, which I haven't decided on yet what can I expect to pay for insurance, any other stuff, etc...

Me, 25 year old male, step 13 driver (9 is the lowest in MA)... I am planning on living in the city. I am trying to find a place north of geary (pac heights, heights, North beach, etc..) but may end up down in mission somewhere...

Best bet is to call up the insurance companies and get a quote. Everything people will post here will just be a guess.

Look up State Farm, Geico, AllState, all the major ones, give them a call. They will tell you exactly what it will cost.

Good luck.

Seeing as that I'm 21 and have been in 8 wrecks. Kthx.
That's not bad at all compared to what I'm paying, considering I have no points or accidents on my record.

I pay 1200/year with Mercury. They are pretty inexspensive especially in California, I'm 28 with full coverage.

... and might i add, living in the city is expensive, and also the street parking sucks, you'll get some dents for sure, unless you have a garage spot which would definitely cost you some extra cash, but i just thought i'd point that out too.
