I was paying about 2300 a year, but thats 2 cars, me w/ a speeding ticket, my gf w/ 2 at faults and my mom..over 55! I just turned 29 also. Get an online quote from esurance so you can have a price to base off.

So Wawanesa was like over $1000 cheaper than Geico, Allstate, etc... Whats the deal with them? Are they a good company?

going to SF eh? good luck on that man, it's quite expensive. at least you wouldnt have to deal with the snow

i'm with geiko, they're pretty good. 15 mins do save you 15 dollars on car insurance..

i have wawanesa. my experience with them has been pretty good. i got into an accident a week and a half ago, and they've been handling that ok.

My insurance on a 2007 G35S sedan was something like $950 annually through AAA (actually CSAA - California State Automobile Association). But I'm married, over 40 and live in the suburbs and keep the car garaged. It will be much higher for your situation.

I do recommend CSAA. They have been immediately responsive to all my claims and allow you to chose any body shop you want. I switched to them a few years ago when someone hit me and their insurance (CSAA) did a great job of taking care of me.
