Think I heard and was wondering myself, just got it painted and thats a good way to protect from chips while paint still soft before completely cured.
Correct me if im wrong, but think thats why.

my car came out of the body shop that day. i told the shop done or not i am taking the car saturday. so they finish the front bumper (not the projectors and sideskirts) and i took it out. i used blue tape so i wouldnt get chips before the paint was fully cured and clear bra was put on.

Hey all! took me a while to find the site, and I'm not sure if there are anymore...but anyways. I was with the BMW group that was on a seperate cruise through Hwy9. We saw you guys roll by the vantage point we were taking photos at, and we were all impressed on the turn out you guys had, seemed like a never ending chain! Well we eventually caught up at one of your meeting spots and decided to park and check out all of your beautiful rides. Here are some shots I took while there.












Glad to meet some of you, and hope to see a lot of you on the road!
