whats up guys,

I'v been looking thru this forum for about a week or so and id have to say, its very similar to my350.com.

well im in the process of selling my 350z and hopefully pickin up a g35c soon. i like the platform of the z but hate that it only has 2 seats. g35c seemed to be the next best thing.

If you guys have any pointers that can direct me in the right direction. im looking for wheels already, suspension and a kit. looking for something simple and clean. thanks!

here are a few pics of my z and my current sponsor

the wheel specs i think are, 19x8 +10 and 19x10 +15 but i might be wrong.

with the g, i plan on starting up a whole new build up. fresh new look. im going to go super low offsets on the wheels with the g, probably +0 all around.

Geez, low enough?? HAHA, how often do you bottom out? Very clean Z and good luck with the sale.

Not to much to look out for while buying a g35 coupe. Just depends on what year you are after. Each year has different problems, but nothing big. Im sure you are aware of the oil consuption problems with the rev up motors...thats the only big thing i can think of.

03-04 models had a axel ticking problem...easy fix though the splines just need to be lubed up. The driver seat brackets (inside the seat) were comming loose as well...not that big of a problem.

Let us know what year and gear box you are after and it might help a little bit.

im also thinking about goin with the INGs +1 kit with the g because its simple and clean. i kinda like the kenstyle kit as well or the KarumaZ kit. the greddy kit looks okay but kinda boxy for the curvy lines of the g. i want to have things planned out before i start my build.

Im looking for a used g, 03/04 manual. im not sure which model has the brembo brakes cause it looks like most have them but some dont. what are the different models are offered in the g35? all i know is theres a sports package.

the g stock looks very nice but knowing me, i cant keeps things stock. like i said, i plan on exterior aero mods, low offset wheels again, and most likely have it slammed as well.

The brembo package comes with the sports package in the 03-04 models. It also oncludes the 18" rims, brembos, and a 6 spd manual transmission. You also have the premium package that has the sunroof, and bose sound system (which sucks you will need to upgrade it if your a fan of good sound qaulity).

The autos came standard with 17" rims unless you bought the upgraded wheels, 18". Then of course the premium packaged again (bose, sunroof, and what not).

Hope this helps!

Welcome

Nice ride !!You sure you want to give that up? If your talking G coupe, the rear seat isn't going to hold much more than your lunch box and newspaper. I think mod options are very similar due to same platform , esp engine mods. Search the Technical forum threads and you'll find everything you need, and come to BBQ to check out what the locals are doing with thier rides. I'm Paul : 06 MT DGc

I beg to differ on that, i can fit two 250 pound kids in my back seats with no problem. The back seats in the coupe actually have alot of room!
