Lake Berryessa drive Sunday.

For any that are interested, I am taking a few Z's on a new route I found, I will set up a meet later this year and you are all welcome to come to that also. I am taking a pretty good auto cross friend there so he can learn the roads and next time lead a group that wants to go a little faster then the scenic group. This will be a slow/smooth drive this time out.
Anyways here was the original write up....

Sunday May 6
1PM
Vacaville Skating Center lot
551 Davis St.
Directions
West 80 exit Davis st., go straight at the first light past chevron, its next to the theatres.

East 80 exit Davis st., turn left onto Davis then right at the light with Chevron on the corner.

This is a practice run, I will set up one a little bigger later on.....more organized. We wont be driving aggressive at all, just becoming familiar with the roads.

We will head to the dam from Vacaville, take 128 to silverado trail, loop around and grab 121 then exit towards fairfield from there.

About 80 miles(1.5hrs) start to finish.

That's a nice drive. Done many times except I start from Suisun Valley Rd on out and end up in Winters/505.

Just watch out for cyclist and ppl towing their boats. There's hot spots with LE too, so be aware.

Can't make it this Sunday... so ya'll have fun.

yep tomorrow, suppose to be mid/upper 80's, as for other cars....I pm you but honestly its a pre run and as long as they tail I dont care, as always just realize when a group hits the road they tend to like to stay in uniform so if someone gets infront of them and they dont realize they are going with them they want to cut infront......so tail or go ahead of everyone.

Been on that drive a few times myself, yeah you got to look out for slow trucks I almost took out one a few years back.
If I am not busy I may tag along.

For those coming from sac if you want to caravan with me I am going to the first chevron in dixon, I may take pics on the drive up, depends on traffic/oppurtunity.

Just take PEDRICK ROAD exit from 80 and chevron is right there.

I am leaving at 1215 from Dixon.

if we leave by 1pm, do you think we'll have round tripped by 2:30? or did you mean end by 2:30

Its start(vacaville to fairfield) 80miles(estimated) took me 1 hour 30mins with a friend going speed limit and pushing just a little in the turns. we stopped 2 times. We actually ended in winters and grabbed some food so I estimated.

This is a meet so you know there will be talking so figure 2-2 1/2 hours.

We'll have to rely on Sleepy z to post some. There were a lot of pictures/video being taken hopefully we can get a few posted up here. I was the only g there so Sleepy if you see this could you post up a couple links/pics/vids?
It was a real nice run. Wish there were more z's and g's there though.

Thanks!

Update: Heres a link to a couple pics http://my350z.com/forum/showthread.php?t=269769

Thanks for coming, sorry it was a little/lot disorganized, sorta why I call it a pre run, it was my first time going that direction, I ran it opposite last time. It was too nice out to not invite people though, anyways here are the pics I have....
