I don't know if they still let you climb Mission Peak, but growing up in Fremont that's what we did.
You could see quite a few cities fireworks.
We used to access it behind Ohlone college.
It's also been eons since I've been in Fremont, so check before you make plans.

Milpitas had some at the Sports Center last year... I'm not sure if they're doing it again this year but it wasn't too bad.

We used to sit on our roof and watch the fireworks from different cities but since we redid the roof - no more going on the roof

Maybe Great America has them also?

If you're willing to drive up to the Berkeley area, the firework show at the berkeley marina is pretty awesome. they close down university and let people walk over the freeway and you're basically right there on the water watching fireworks. you can see the ones from berkeley, fisherman's wharf and marin county fireworks. plenty of carnival like games and food available too. been attending it for the past 5 years and it's always been great.

fisherman's wharf is a great area. tourist spot + they usually have a small festival before the fireworks. safe neighborhood also.

might have to get there REALLLY early for parking but its well worth it.
