I need helppp
No no this is not other RECALL QUESTION. But, it is a recall problem I guess you can say? Basically I took my car in and they replaced the headlamps. Now when I drive at night, I feel like the light is only shining on the ground in front of me. So it looks like the light doesn't shine far? I hope that made sense...
I know there was a thread about a DIY on how to adjust it yourself. BUTTTTTT I don't know what to do... I'm a girl and I don't really know much about all this car stuff. Should I go back to the dealership and ask them. What if they think I'm just crazy. Or should I find someone who has done the recall that had problems as well and fixed it themselves?

maybe its pointed down? or loose? either way, have it checked out if you notice a difference. im not really a good one to ask about this stuff though.

I would take it back to the dealer to have them do it for you, but knowing the dealer, they will probably still not be aimed correct.
If you can find someone to help you do it, here is a simple DIY. All you really need is a screwdriver and a wall with a flat surface.

Hmmm . . . Since the dealership replaced the headlamps, I would have to believe that they would take no issue in adjusting them. It was probably an oversight, which should be corrected . . . As this may present itself to be a safety issue.
Bahhhh but the dealership is soooo far. I go to the one in Pleasanton! Okay, I just hope they agree with me and fix it. Thanks everyone

UPDATE:
I called the dealership and they said that the aiming is correct and there is nothing they can do. The aiming was done at the factory so that's how it should be. But I know its not, because it's really different from before and I can't see as much. So I got irritated and followed the DIY and tried to do it myself.....
....It wasn't successful =( I couldn't move the bolt but I knew it was the right one because the cutoff line on the wall would shake. But I think maybe I wasn't doing it strong enough. or its stuck? But anyway..... =(

Not only are they adjustable, but there can be alot of play when installing them. That is another thing you want to check out. There are 4 bolts that hold them in place but it is possible that it is missaligned. Anyways, numerous members have complained about improper aiming after the recall.

I'd say press the issue. Recall done on mine. Noticed slight diff in upper cut-off line. No real noticeable issues with mine at night.
Guess mine were aligned correctly when replaced
