Our oem tinted windows are a little lighter than 70%. Mine before tints read 72-74ish with my tint guys meter.

Yup...you are correct
Technically, any tints you put over your G's oem tinted front windows that make them darker, will make them illegal.

No limit on rear sides and back windows. You can go 2% limo legally if you want.

How you don't get pulled over in Daly City, Kris, I don't know. When I lived there I got pulled over for every little thing. One time the cop had to continue on another ticket. I had: Headlights too low to the ground, no front plate, exhaust too loud, and tint. I thought he was going to get me for my car being the wrong shade of black.

And people wonder why I'm taking so long to mod my G. I'm too old now to deal with cops over minor stuff like that. I'm glad I don't live in DC or work in Fremont anymore.

i used to get pulled over alot when i drove honda/acura toyotas, but ever since i got higher end cars no one really bugs me. i got out of 2 tickets 1 going 75 in a 40 and another going 80 in a 55 with 3 lane changes with no signals and not dont a complete stop hahah

Yeah they can, they are still considered as your local law enforcement.
