Wherever bart runs they can pull you over and do anything a regular cop can. I've seen them chase down people and cut them off and draw guns because some think they can just ignore and out run them.

I never took BART police seriously, thought their jurisdiction was simply the BART stations. Thanks for the tip, I'll watch my driving when they're around now...

+1 on keeping my eyes open for them. Although I think they shouldn't be giving out speeding tickets and should be patrolling the stations instead for like dirty bombs or something lol.
