High street is probably not a good location because of alll the cops there and the speed limit is only 25mph

yeah parking in piedmont BLOWS. i hate it with a passion. never been to the naval station but i heard it's a great meeting/parking space. i was ideally hoping for a place where we could meet, chill and grab a bite to eat.

I was kinda joking about that, dont think too many members would venture to that part of Oakland...How bout the Starbucks on Powell and Chirstie in Emeryville? there are couple of restaurants around in that shopping center, or at Bay st. and Ohlone? plenty of restaurants there but parking might be a issue tho. Guess we can always meet up in Ikea's parking lot and then walk over.

there's parking for the bay st. promenade but i think it's pay parking? i dunno sometimes i've had to pay, sometimes not. maybe not on weekends. regardless, the starbucks/jamba juice @ powell and christie is a good spot. there's a togo's there and some other places too. let's do that.

"that part" of oakland is awesome... mexican food that ranks up there with the mission! maybe you and i should head over there before for a few (half-dozen) tacos... i was there 2 weekends ago on a taco crawl...
