Is it just because my car is black or do drivers not see the G?

lol today i was doing 43 mph while it was still pretty bright out and i come around this curve to see a deer on the side of the road, so he jumps right in front of my bumper running almost in the same direction as i was driving...those brakes pretty much saved my life, he was a huge ****

I can't imagine seeing a deer running next to you... I did see a mountain lion once... but not when I was in my G. That was scary because I didn't know if he was going to jump in front of me.

BTW, we have this wonderful form called a DMV DS427. It is a DMV driver's license re-evaluation form. For those people that come to a complete stop in the fast lane of the freeway when we are trying to pull them over because they just passed a patrol car while I was doing 70 MPH. Among many other fumb duck moves. It means the DMV sends them a nice little letter that says they have to come to the DMV and retake every portion of their driver's license exam.

honestly, I am not sure about the color have something to do with it. I have a dark blue 04 coupe and few times in the past, some cars just didnt' see me. I mean for some drivers change lane without look at the rear mirror. I agree some of them on the cell and pretend nothing happend. I would suggest NEVER drive side by side with a big truck or SUV. Otherwise, when they change lanes, they would think the G just too small to spot.
Glad your car's okay. About the guy turning left from the right lane: That was exactly how my '95 (also black!) integra was totaled in Oakland at 9 in the morning. It was some old guy making a left from the center lane of a one-way street with three lanes. I was in the left lane. Even worse, his insurance had just expired a month before. My insurance just issued me a check for the loss, because the repairs would've cost more than the value of the car. Damn Bay Area drivers!
These days there seems to be more and more cars trucks on the roads, just like negative mentioned you basically have to drive in a defensive mode and always looking out for the other driver that potentially is talking on the cell, not paying attention, so busy that they don't know there is a car next to them before changing lanes. And again there are just those people that don't even give a damn to even look behind before making a changing lane, those i see alot of unfortunately.
