Yeah, definitely get a good lawyer, and get all you can out of the guy. I'm assuming you know his identity and/or where he lives? Sorry to see this happen, but it's good that you were able to catch him on cam at least. This hits pretty close to home for me since I park in a garage in downtown Sac as well. Good luck with everything.

Wow, you installed that camera just in time.

I had my window smashed about 2 months ago. I'm assuming it's just one of the punk kids who lives around my apartment complex. I'm glad I'm moving to my new house soon. I know you still have the same dangers living in your own home, but at least I would be able to have my car in a garage all the time.

Good luck with the repair and you'll be spending tons of time vacuuming out all the squares of broken glass and you'll find little pieces as the weeks go by. Be careful when you do find them as the little pieces were what cut my hands.

Keep us up-to-date with how it all unfolds. Best of Luck to you. With the video, I would think you have a sure win.

Hope the judge gives it to the bastard as well.

Wez,

What city do you live in? I'm assuming you filed a police report and they have a copy of the video.

Hopefully this a-hole gets caught and you are given some sort of restitution. I fvcking HATE thieves.

I called the police Saturday as soon as it happend and got " i'm sorry sir but police don't respond to a break in, you can go file a report at the local agency MONDAY THRU FRIDAY 8am to 5pm".... So all weekend I have kept the car with broken windows... because I want the detective to see what happend before i take it to infiniti to replace the windows. I'm not sure what I am going to do about the paint, who do I take it to? I will have to ask my insurance company what they want me to do. There are serious deep scratches in the paint.... I ******* HATE THIS GUY!

Oh and I dont know the guy, he is not a resident of the place and I havent seen him before. So I have no leads, just a vengful eye... so anyone who wears a hat and is about 210lbs with facial hair...is going down!

I will let everyone know how it goes. Thanks for your support.

Wow...sorry to hear this. Hate Effin ppl like that. Makes my blood boil.

I would press the issue with LE to please come out and look for finger prints.
If any usable and in their system with your vid...busted!!

Too bad our G's alarm system doesn't have a sensor that picks up glass breakage. Aftermarket alarm or sensor modual upgrade might be something to consider.
