Yeah, I know, it makes about as much sense as fighting a ticket for not turning on your head lights at night...especially you thought it was ON...

i remember seeing a honda accord who blew past me doing 80+ on I-5 in stockton, going southbound, get followed and pulled over shortly afterwards by stockton police....

and then another time going north on same stretch, i cruised past a Lodi police car in the far right lane with cruise control set to 70 without an incident....

just thought i'd share...

Kinda. More importantly, when you sign your name to your driver's license, you are responsible for obeying every section of the vehicle code. Remember the saying "ignorance is no excuse for the law."

You can always count on Chippie to set everything straight that has to do with citations.

Do you have one more card Chippie?

Not true. BART PD and University PD can stop people on city streets. Remember when Jeff Garcia (former QB for the Niners) got arrested for DUI? He was stopped/arrested on city streets by SJSU PD. A cop is a cop is a cop.

EDIT: I know I beat a dead horse, but I thought the Garcia example was pretty good.
