Good luck

All you need to do is spend the day wet sand and then buff. from what all my other friends told me,and it came out great lookin. but thats just my 2 cents.

for me, nothing better than doing it yourself. And it won't be cheaper if you have more than 1 vehicle or want yours done again in a couple of years. PC & pads is an investment.

Polish
HEY,
I agree. I was frustrated at the job a "detail" shop did on my car. So i bought the P.C buffer and all the stuff. Car looks awesome and it is black. It is worth the investment. Check out George at www.detailedimage.com. I am in the bay area... Would offer to help but.. seems far to go for you.
P.S Just my opinion... on the post above.. I would not reccomend you color sanding your car unless you are an expert... Plus unless you have VERY deep scraches.. or major paint problems it is not nessary. Good Luck!!!

My car had alot of waterspots and some pretty deep scratches so I had a pro do a colorsand on my car. The results are phenomenal but I really wouldn't recommend it unless you really need to do it.

As stated above, wet sanding is a last resort when polishing does not remove enough material to "flatten" the area with the defect. Wet sanding is only needed for really deep scratches or if you want to remove the orange peel. If you don't have any experience at this, you'll want to practice on another car or or car part. It's not that hard and there are some good sites that have a detailed step by step process.

Hey, I can definately help you with your car and I am located local in the Sacramento area. I have almost 6 years of detail experience, I have been certified by Blue Coral for exterior and interior reconditioning. I work at Mercedes Benz of El Dorado Hills as a detailer and work on $100k plus cars everyday. If you are interested I can meet up with you, take a look at your car and let you know exactly what you need done and I would be more than happy to take care of your care. send me a pm if your interested.
