WHAT? we're now changing venues? LOL see what happens when I don't go on the board for 1 evening. LOL okay, is Cattleman's pretty clean? I saw that restaurant years ago driving by and it didn't look appetizing... maybe I was just in a funky mood when I saw it.

But I do recall the parking lot is pretty big... that's a plus in my book.

 

Hahahaha, sorry Gerr! Yea, go on and read what happened since you last posted. Cattlemans is a good place. Don't judge a book by its cover, the outside façade does no justice for what's inside. I believe this place is older than I am, and has been there back in the day when Newark had just a Roller Rink where the Raleys is now! How about it Leon, am I right?

BTW- the place DOES have a bar!

We can all park over by the run-down Japanese restaurant and Rite Aid which used to be the Hof Brau and Payless!!!

 

I grew up skating in the Fremont Roller rink and when Lake Elizabeth had fields around it. I think I remember sneaking into the Cattlemen's bar when I was a tad underage....lol Either that or it was some other big steak place in Fremont. Darn CRS.

I remember Lido Lanes-wasn't it over by Bart???...my Grandpa was an amateur bowler so he took me to his tournaments all the time!
