Yo Kris, I agree but I will do my best to make this work out...I have a hook up possibly. My co-workers daughter is a hostess at CJ and her boyfriend is the Manager SO this is what im relying on to make this happen successfully.

BUT if that doesnt work out then I may have to make an emergency change to H00ters.

Correct. YUP, we do have a couple ladies under 21 attending and they CAN go to H00ters no problem. Its not an official "bar"...just great family entertainment! Bring the kids to see some

 

i don't think it should be a problem for them to accomodate a group of 25-30 people. i'll keep you guys posted.

I had to extend the list- my wishful thinking is working!

...but im also expecting that maybe a few people on this list may have something come up (IE-the pending folks) by the time this meet really happens. This is looking like a good meet, nice way to end the year!

 

After a little research we found out that Claim Jumper cannot do a party of 20+ people for 7 pm on a Friday Night. That is their peak time and it would be literally impossible (so much for my hook up! LOL). The EARLIEST they could take us all in is around 930 pm. Now if we can all agree on that, then we can kick it for 2.5 hours before we get seated. Not too crazy about that!

Option 2- H00ters...if you havent been there, they dont have a way to set up a 20+ party and have us all sit together. They CAN seat us all seperately and we just run around visiting each other but not that convenient.

So I would say lets make some more suggestions and feed off each others ideas. Keep it local (Milpitas to Union City) and think of places that can cater to larger parties OR have a lotta seating for a Friday night. I can research any ideas once they are favored, or you can do it yourself and Ill follow up.

My first idea is Chevy's in Newark by Chuck-e-Cheeses off Stevenson. They have a private party room in the back and they serve alcohol and have a bar. Parking sucks a little but we can just take up the street, if youre familiar.

If people do agree on the later time....do we have any idea what we should do for the time prior to that, is there a drive planned or was this just hanging around in a parking lot.

 

I would suggest this one korean bbq restaurant in oakland (samwon bbq), it has a private hall that seats like 100+ ppl and has a stage and everything so its perfect for a event like this. It also has big *** parking too. But then again, its Oakland and its somewhat safe yet somewhat not so i dunno. But if not, i'd say we just chill till 9:30 for CJs. I remember last time the food was great

 

Funny you mention that, cuz last big meet we had in Fremont we kicked it in the parking lot waiting for Tu and we didnt hit the In-and-Out till later that night, so I guess we do kick it and just talk.

No where to cuz in Fremont really unless you wanna count Niles Canyon.

 

i'm open to anything...we basically need a place that has an extra back room or area that can accomodate the size of our party.

samwon is off telegraph and 27th...not the best area. food is good but may be a bit far.

 

I was about to post that...good place but I would prefer to keep it Fremont-centralized.
