you guys are quick! i'm at work in San Ramon and it's one of the bigger ones I've felt in this building. This building is on rollers, so it might have been magnified.

Wow...I didn't feel a thing in Fairfield. Was in the house too...weird.
Ummm...I'll take earthquakes over tornado's and hurricanes any day.
Nothing more frightening to me than seeing destruction heading your way in advance and knowing you're prob screwed

I was playing Company of Heros when the house started to move around, I could feel the foundation moving around on the dirt and saw that the walls were swaying, pretty crazy.

That was hella weak! I was expecting the Loma Prieta sequel but it just died out. Well, thankfully it wasnt strong enough to cause super damage but dang. Oh well...another 18 years again? LOL

Actually I did feel it in Fairfield, thought it was a huge truck going by the house...lol, see that's what happens when you live near an air force base, you have no idea what went by

I thought my cats were high on catnip! They were running in circles just before it hit. It seemed longer than most lately, didn't it?

I felt it all the way over here, felt some very slight vibrations for about three seconds and then 10 seconds later the floor was moving side ways...

^^ Grace, your poor kitties... my old cat Abby used to do that too, may she RIP.

Yeah, that was a long one...

Rol, are you crazy? that was a good enough one for me! NNoo, no Loma Prieta... we felt that all the way down in L.A. when that happened.

I agree with the folks in here about the hurricane & tornadoes.
