my cigarette lighter died. so..how do i fix that

 

check the fuse it might be shorted

 

use your other 2 =P

 

the one in the center console?? is that what you call it? died too

and theres another one?! where!

Hi Veronica, check the fuse under your driver side fuse box.
You can replace the fuse (15A) CIGAR LIGHTER under the FUSE PULLER.

Use the Fuse Puller to pull the dead 15A Cigar Lighter fuse and replace it with a spare fuse (15A) from top.

isn't there one next to the glove compartment? on passenger side... or atleast there is one for sedans.

 

thats on the 03-04 interior.... the 05+ interior is redesigned. there is one under the radio and there is one in under the armrest.

 

i think she's even more confused now.

 

do you use a car charger for your phone or ipod or anything?

 

If in fact you don't smoke how did you discover the cigarette lighter wasn't
working? I've had my G since '04 and I couldn't tell you if mine works or not!
And, I sure wouldn't let anyone smoke in my car. So how did you figure out
it wasn't working.....?

 

She probably plugs in a car charger and when it didnt charge her phone or ipod she knew then.....hmmm there are other reasons to use a cigar lighter other than just to smoke.
