looks like discreet is a ringer. he does graphic design for a living

anyways, discreet, please create a design that we can print on businees cards, t-shirts, etc. nothing with too much color or that's too fancy.

that design you have above looks awesome. Now that is what I call a bridge.

you guys wanted golden gate on the back so yeah...

its a logo... so we want it keep it simple... we dont want a "picture" as a logo...

maybe the writing bigger? or something... opinions?

Looks as though we generated some intrest in logos. Sorry for all the work but if you had me doing the drawings you'd be getting them faxed to you. Thanks again!!!! It looks good just a little claen up and thats generally close to what I had in mind.

NO, it is not just for coupes. it is for anyone with an interest in our cars, whether it be coupes, sedans, hondas, beemers, whatever.

BUT, i think finding small pictures of coupes is easier, so that's why you see them in the logo. rest assured, the final logo will either have both representin, but more than likely, it will not have any pictures of coupes.

makes the design a lot more simple.

Sedan folks seem to get the short end of the stick alot so I wanted it clear. Is the club really for non-owners of G35s? Or do we mean that anyone is welcome to attend a meet but only G35s can participate in many of the soon to be developed events? I hope you see where I am going with this. I am not sure we need a "G3" name and logo if its going to become a free for all. I'm trying to get this all clear and I thought I had it but it sounds like I don't. Help me-I just got lost.

The cables on the uprights are crossing over... Didnt know if you noticed or not.. Imma graphic designer so i notice lil details like that. how many colors are we looking for.. black logo is cheapest. 2- color process will cost a lil more... Ill try to come up with something...

 

Well I am sure anyone is welcome, but for any actual awards or what not you have to be a G35 owner and a registered member of the club. Right now the club is in its infancy stages so that really isn't a major concern for this upcoming meet.

I think we shouldn't have G3, but rather G35 and then Golden Gate G35 Club or something like that. Also, I don't think we should have pictures of the cars as it starts becoming too complex.

 

For the logo I think 2 color ,to keep print cost down. And needs to work in gray scale. As far as "G3" goes it reminds me too much of the "G3" Apple computer. For a logo you want to steer clear of Trade Marked stuff, or things that are to similar to other companies stuff, similarities can bring Lawsuits.
