Hello again from your friendly neighborhood G35 Owner.

Northern California G35 owners have created an official G35 Club called:

Golden Gate G35s

We are now looking for a logo.

The designer of the logo that the club ultimately decides to go with will receive an Infiniti Polo Shirt courtesy of Peninsula Infiniti. Size and color of shirt TBD.

I personally would prefer something that included the outline of the Golden Gate Bridge, but we are open to all suggestions. I was thinking of "G35" overlayed on the outline of the Golden Gate Bridge. <font color=red>---II</font color=red><u>G35</u><font color=red>II---</font color=red>

Please give us some suggestions. Winner gets a free polo shirt from Peninsula Infiniti

Also remember to keep the design simple and it should be able to look good printed in color or black and white.

I guess I'll start it out. this is what I had in mind. all I used was Microsoft Paint. Took awhile, but you get the idea.

Hopefully I'll have time to try some more stuff out.

here's one where the G35 is the focal point, rather than the bridge.

i prefer this design because it is simple.

so those are two of my ideas that incorporate the bridge and our club name.

since it doesn't seem too many people want to contribute their ideas, PLEASE at least give me some comment/feedback so I can begin finalizing a logo

OK, Why not have the cables of the bridge come down in the center more and put "G3" in the space made between the two uprights and underneath the span,near the water put"Golden Gate G35 club" and keep the coupe picture out. The club is for everyone not just coupes. Just my 2 cents-IQ9

I reallly like the embossed one. Very simple, clean, and to the point. We should want as little writing as possible and the logo needs to be instantly recognizable.

 

If the G3 could fit a little better in between the uyp rights and the Golden Gate G35 club be a bit smaller-as to fit betwwen the uprights possible stack the wording. But the first on was very close to what I had evvisioned. I just wish I could draw it as you have.

I like the embossed one but the one thing I don't like is the bottom section of the columns that are underneath the road part of the bridge. I think if you cut those out it would look cleaner. And then readjust the wording so that the bottom of the word "Club" is in line with the road part of the bridge. I could submit my idea for a logo but it would be on paper as I have no computer art skills whatsoever. Thanks and good job on the logos.

Lower parts of the uprights could be removed and the the club name would run underneath the span completely. I have no computer skills either so I just give the ideas and the masters here create.

sorry, not really sure what you mean by making the G3 fit better between the uprights.

but i removed the lower part of the bridge (IMHO, looks less like a bridge now) and made the club name fit underneath the bridge.

anymore ideas?

you really don't need any artistic skills to run MS Paint, just a lot of time and patience. ignore the embossing of the logo, i was just having fun. it would be expensive to print stuff out with that logo.

Is there any way to make the G3 if in betwwen the the uprights and not touch the cables at all. Remember you are the artist. I just ask for help. Yes it does look less like the bridge but if the bridge image trademarked, we have just solved a problem we could later be hit with. Beside do we need it to be a perfect rendering or a stylized image. If you keep making them I'll keep thinking. You probably have the winning image already and don't need my help.
