dropping a friend off at oakland airport tomorrow around noon.

was wondering if theres any scenic places in the area where i can stop by and shoot some photos. wanna put my new lens into use =P

preferably areas which have very few buildings or none. ya know... nature stuff...

 

there are some business parks near the airport on the border of bay farm island in alameda. it's near the oakland raider headquarters. also if you drive past the port of oakland on 7th, there are some cool places to take pics next to the water.

 

cool, do they have a phsyical address where i can just plug into my gps and get myself near the area?

 

yeah go to east oakland around east 50 or so be sure to wear lots of bling

 

one of my friend who works at the airport said that the faculty parking lot has a very nice area for pictures. hope that helps =)

Or you can go to Mills College, and take photos with lots of angry Womyn's Studies majors in the background.

 

When you are near E50th, stick your bling bling watch out the window to show them who the boss is.
