Not to be mean, but I lived out in Lemoore which is around the Fresno area. First off, there isn't much going on out there. Secondly, with pesticides, fertilizer, and dirt out there, you tend to get this weird oily dirt residue on your car. Third, driving out there you pretty much cake your car with bug guts that eat up your finishing. Again, perhaps those were just a few not so cool things that happened to me while I lived there for 2.5 years. This is moreso a warning for those to be aware of prior to driving out. Protect your car tape it up!!!

I might depending on which day. Im always free during the day so i can always make it unless i get busy with something else. i feel you paradox. I have a cousin who was based in Lemoore. Everytime he would come into town his car be all bugged out. He had to wash his car almost everyday. lol

Same here I was based in NAS Lemoore, it was just horrible, the smell, the air quality, the crap on your car. I would much rather be stationed at Point Mugu or San Diego...

I remember driving a black Nissan in that area, even when you washed it sometimes if you don't add enough soap, it just seemed like your were smearing or smudging that residue around on your car. I just gave up and drove my beater until the wheels fell off. Then I got reassigned to Whidbey Island, WA, and got myself another beater EK.

 

Summertime is bad for bugs... other than that its not that bad. Dang only two Gs. Ill make it when i can!!
