$340 for spring+OEM lip install? sanjose.

I was quoted 340 for spring (350z H-tech) + OEM lip install (prepaintd) from Dell Autobody..

Does this seem a little steep? this was after Goodies Speedshop quoted me 495 for springs alone and said they couldnt do the lip because they dont do body work..

Anyone have shop reccomendation in san jose that could do these for me a bit cheaper?

Are you guys friggin serious ?? you can buy a set of coilovers for $495 man, daaaamn....
a Spring install alone should cost around $100, even the top shops around here charge no more than $150 for spring installations. I called around when I needed my S-tech's installed.
Why is this so expensive down there where you guys are?

Sounds too high. Spring install should be about $150 tops. As for the OEM lip, might want to find someone local who can install it for you.

^ WTF, thats funny and it angers me at the same time, I'dda told him to fak off right to his face if he wants to tell me installing springs is a 4 hour job..
I did it myself in 1.5 hours, WITHOUT all the power tools the shops have at their disposal.. fawkin shops always tryin to rip people off, good thing we have these forums huh.
My shop took only 30 minutes on my front springs, and the fronts are twice as hard as the rear, the rear took 15 minutes.
And sorry i can't recommend you any shops, I'm not local, I'm up the coast from you.. Someone will jump in and give you a good shop in no time, till then DON"T GO BACK TO THESE SHOPS, lol

Tokico D-Specs my friend. But sorry they're not coilovers they're struts I meant. They're just under $500 from one of the Sponsors on this forum, I forget which one. You're a SUPER MOD, this forum is YOUR domain, and you missed out on this tokico deal ? hehe

you've been enlightened buddy

EDIT: I just checked my private messages and yea it's from THMotorsports, for $495 SHIPPED !
it's the Tokico D-Spec Adjustables

^ yea I made a mistake I fixed it, I meant to say you can get struts and shocks for under $500 and these are it. Plus you can adjust how soft or hard you want it which is good for street use
