Cant wait for it to hit 5.00... interestingly.. I have noticed like 10x less people on the road to work both in the morning and at night... I just look at the increase in gas as a "privilege to use the road tax" gotta look for them bright sides...

I knew it would be smart to fill up in Oakland on Saturday when I was out there. It was $4.45 over there. now its like $4.55+ in my area as of yesterday. It's probably more today.

What happened to gas going up overnight on Tuesdays?

Now it seems as if gas is raised every other day!

It IS going up overnight. I paid $4.57 in Fremont today and that's generally some of the cheapest gas around the bay.... YUCK I'm going to start driving a scooter to work!

Bart FTMFGDW!!!!! I cant ask for anything more in these high gas price days. half of my bart commute is paid for by work, i dont have to pay for parking, no toll, no traffic, and the best part is my baby gets to enjoy the garage all day long without having to put any miles!

And the large majority of us will continue to pay the high price for fuel.

At $5.00/gallon I may consider riding BART. My work covers the cost of taking public transportation to work.
